1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using BlissLyng ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BlissNova Technologies, a CAC-registered company based in Lagos, Nigeria.
2. Description of Service
BlissLyng is a URL shortening platform that allows users to create short links, generate QR codes, track click analytics, and manage links via a personal dashboard. The Service is available on a free tier and paid subscription plans.
Features available to you depend on your plan (Free, Starter, Pro, or Agency) as described on our Pricing page.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use BlissLyng. By using the Service, you represent that:
You are at least 13 years old
You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
You are not located in a country subject to a Nigerian government embargo or designated as a sanctions target.
4. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
Provide accurate and complete registration information
Keep your password confidential and not share it with any third party
Notify us immediately at hello@blisslyng.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
Take full responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.
5. Acceptable Use
You may use BlissLyng only for lawful purposes. You agree not to use the Service to shorten, share, or promote links that:
Contain malware, viruses, phishing pages, or any malicious code
Facilitate fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
Promote or distribute spam
Violate any applicable Nigerian or international law
Contain child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that exploits minors
Infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party
Promote hate speech, violence, or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, ethnicity, or nationality
Circumvent any sanctions, export controls, or financial regulations
We actively scan links for malicious destinations and will permanently ban accounts found in violation without notice or refund.
6. Link Content & Responsibility
BlissLyng is a neutral link infrastructure provider. We do not review every URL submitted. However:
You are solely responsible for the content of every link you create or share using BlissLyng
We reserve the right to disable any link at our sole discretion if we determine it violates these Terms or poses a risk to users
Disabled or deleted links will return an error page and cannot be recovered
If you believe a BlissLyng link points to harmful content, report it to hello@blisslyng.com.
7. Subscriptions & Billing
7.1 Plans
BlissLyng offers monthly and yearly subscription plans. Plan features and pricing are listed at blisslyng.com/pricing. We reserve the right to change pricing with 14 days' notice to active subscribers.
7.2 Billing
Subscriptions are billed automatically at the start of each billing cycle via your chosen payment method (Paystack, PayPal, or cryptocurrency). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
7.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged for the next cycle.
7.4 Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Cryptocurrency payments are non-refundable once confirmed on-chain.
7.5 Failed Payments
If a payment fails, your account will be downgraded to the free tier. You may re-subscribe at any time. We will make reasonable attempts to notify you of failed payments by email.
8. Free Tier
The free tier is provided as-is with no service level guarantees. We reserve the right to impose rate limits, modify features, or discontinue the free tier at any time with reasonable notice.
Free tier links are permanent and will not be deleted solely because of inactivity, unless the account is terminated under these Terms.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Our IP
All content, code, branding, designs, and features of BlissLyng are the intellectual property of BlissNova Technologies. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
9.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of the URLs and content you submit to BlissLyng. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your links solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
10. Data & Privacy
Your use of BlissLyng is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described therein.
11. Uptime & Service Availability
We aim for maximum uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Service. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure issues, or events beyond our control may cause temporary downtime.
We are not liable for any losses arising from Service unavailability, link downtime, or data inaccessibility.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
BlissNova Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of BlissLyng
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim
We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or legality of any destination URL shortened through our platform.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BlissNova Technologies, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
Your use or misuse of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Any third-party claim arising from a link you created or shared using BlissLyng
14. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we determine you have violated these Terms or if continued access poses a risk to other users or the integrity of the Service.
You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon deletion, your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through direct communication with us at hello@blisslyng.com.
If a resolution cannot be reached within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of BlissLyng after updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
