BlissLyng ("we", "us", "our") is operated by BlissNova Technologies, a CAC-registered company based in Lagos, Nigeria. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use blisslyng.com.
By using BlissLyng, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
a) Account Information
When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (hashed — never stored in plain text).
b) Payment Information
Payments are processed by Paystack, PayPal, and NowPayments. We do not store your card details, bank credentials, or crypto wallet information on our servers. Payment processors handle all sensitive financial data under their own security standards.
c) Link & Usage Data
When you create a short link, we store the original URL, your chosen alias (if any), creation date, expiry settings, and password protection status. This data is associated with your account and stored permanently on our servers unless you delete it.
d) Click Analytics
For every link click, we collect and store: timestamp, approximate country (derived from IP), device type, browser, and referrer source. We do not store raw IP addresses beyond what is necessary to derive location. This data is aggregated and displayed in your dashboard.
e) Device Unlock Data
If you purchase a Device Unlock token, we record the device identifier associated with the token activation for fraud prevention purposes.
f) Cookies & Local Storage
We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. If Google AdSense is active on any page, Google may set its own cookies subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
g) Technical Logs
Our servers automatically log standard web access data (browser type, OS, pages visited, timestamps) for security monitoring and debugging. These logs are retained for a maximum of 90 days.
3. How We Use Your Information

4. Data Sharing

Link & analytics data is retained permanently while your account exists, and deleted with your account upon request.
Payment records are retained for 7 years in compliance with Nigerian financial regulations.
Server logs are purged after 90 days.
6. Your Rights

Delete your account and associated data
Export your link data from your dashboard
Withdraw consent to non-essential data processing at any time

7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, hashed password storage, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure — if you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately.
8. Children's Privacy
BlissLyng is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. International Users
BlissLyng is operated from Nigeria. If you access our service from outside Nigeria, your data may be transferred to and processed in Nigeria. By using BlissLyng, you consent to this transfer.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page and, where changes are significant, notify registered users by email. Continued use of BlissLyng after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
